Object description:

The Jafurah Gas Field, with estimated reserves of 200 trillion standard cubic feet of natural gas, is the largest liquid-rich shale gas field in the Middle East. The development of the Jafurah unconventional gas field is one of the most ambitious projects in Aramco’s history. Covering an area of approximately 17,000 km², the Jafurah basin presented a unique opportunity to build a large-scale project that aims to contribute to the energy transition.

Situation:

The Saudi Aramco Jafurah Gas Plant in Saudi Arabia is an innovative project initiated by the Saudi Arabian Oil Company. It includes the construction of three gas compression plants with a combined capacity of 600 million cubic feet per day of crude gas and 150,000 barrels per day of condensate gas. Additionally, the project includes three 230 kV gas-insulated substations, along with associated utilities and infrastructure.

Task:

The main purpose of our company was to provide reliable electric heating systems to minimize heat loss and optimize performance, thereby enhancing the safety and efficiency of the gas handling process.

Solution:

We successfully delivered electric heating systems based on BTC and BTX self-regulating cables, ensuring efficient and reliable temperature control of facilities.
