Its initial design focused on the production of fuels and lube base stock. Over the next five decades, the company experienced a dynamic, growth-driven evolution.
Situation:
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) is going to strengthen its position in the LNG sector by expanding its existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal located at Kamarajar Port, Ennore, Chennai. The company aims to increase the terminal’s processing and storage capacity to 10 million metric tonnes per annum.
The upgraded facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including LNG storage tanks, regasification systems, LNG pumps, and vaporizers, ensuring efficient and reliable LNG processing and distribution.
Task:
The primary objective of our company was to provide Skin Effect Heat Tracing systems designed to maintain the temperature of liquefied gas within pipelines and storage tanks.
Solution:
We successfully delivered electric heating systems based on the skin-effect principle of operation, ensuring efficient and reliable temperature control.
