Vopak Horizon Fujairah Limited, established in 1998, specializes in the safe blending, break-bulk and consolidation of petroleum products and сrude oil. Strategically located at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz on the eastern side of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), outside the Gulf, Vopak Horizon Fujairah is one the leading storage and handling service provider for petroleum products in Fujairah.
Situation:
To provide the secure transportation of fuel oil and crude oil within the terminal a trusted partner in electric heating cables was required.
Task:
To maintain the temperatures of the liquids transported in pipelines.
Solution:
The site is equipped with a heating system based on skin-effect produced by the SST Thermal Solutions Group of Companies. The system features three feeding points to heat pipelines with diameters of 508 mm and 610 mm. The maintenance temperature is set at +60 °C.
