Vopak Horizon Fujairah Limited, established in 1998, caters to safely blending, break-bulk and consolidation of petroleum products and сrude oil. Strategically located at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz on the eastern side of United Arab Emirates (UAE) outside the Gulf, Vopak Horizon Fujairah is one the leading storage and handling service provider for petroleum products in Fujairah.
Situation:
To provide the secure transportation of fuel oil and crude oil in the terminal a trusted partner in electric heating cables was required.
Task:
To maintain the temperatures of the liquids transported in pipelines.
Solution:
The site is equipped with heating system based on skin-effect produced by SST Group. The system has 3 feeding points to heat the pipelines with 508 and 610 mm pipes diameters. The maintenance temperature is +60 °C.
