Object description:
Shell lubricants plant is located near Cairo in Egypt. It produces motor oils and industrial lubricants.
Situation:
The plant is implementing a four-phase program to increase its production capacity. The expansion project will increase storage space for both raw materials and finished products, as well as install new filling, mixing, and packaging lines.
Task:
To ensure smooth operations of Shell lubricants plant by providing safe and uninterrupted transportation of liquids.
Solution:
Our company took part in Phase 1 of the plant expansion program as the EPC-contractor and supplied electric heating systems based on self-regulating heating cables, explosion-proof junction boxes, and sensors. To control and monitor system parameters, control cabinets connected to an automated operator workstation were installed.
