BPCL’s Refinery at Mahul Chembur, established in 1955 and located in the eastern Mumbai suburbs, currently has the capacity to process 12 million tonnes of crude oil per annum, producing liquefied petroleum gas, mineral turpentine oil, aviation turbine fuel, kerosene, motor spirit, diesel, furnace oil, and bitumen.
